If a person were to create and program a mechanism that could perform even half the functions the Mimic octopus does, they would likely receive all of the accolades the scientific community could possibly bestow upon a human being, and probably be hailed as the most brilliant scientist on the planet. Their creation would be highly esteemed as an incredible example of intelligent design. However, despite the obvious evidence of design in nature, naturalists seem bound to evolutionary interpretations.

The Bible says God created magnificent sea creatures like the Mimic octopus on day five of creation. So despite this evidence in support of scripture, why is it that many Christian pastors and leaders that have compromised with the story of evolution say you can trust your immortal soul to the gospel teachings of Christ our Creator, but cannot trust His word as plainly written in Genesis?
