"In Deuteronomy 28, the LORD reveals to Israel the consequences for their actions: blessings
for obedience and curses for disobedience. Despite these harsh warnings, Israel will
eventually ignore God’s commands, and succumb to various temptations, false worship, and
all kinds of evil. God does not take away our ability to choose, instead He invites everyone to
seek Him. By failing to do so, to seek what’s truly good, we will fall into great sin and failure.
As Christians, we know why we respond to Jesus Christ with such awe and favour, because
He has done so much for us already – forgiving our sin and giving us eternal life. If we seek
His face and take Him as our salvation, then we will be born again ( JOHN 3). Praise God!
God shows us the great blessing and failure of what we, as people, do when we accept
or reject Him. There is a drive inside of each one of us, and it is of sin. That drive can be
changed if we come to Jesus Christ and confess our sins to Him, accepting His provision.

The Drive; Deuteronomy 28-31
"The majority rule does not mean the majority is right. We are not wise enough to make
the right decisions every time–––but God is! When God selected Joshua to lead Israel
after Moses passed away, it was a perfect choice. God’s Kingdom is not a democracy, we
worship a King on a throne. His rule i... -
Falling Away; Deuteronomy 32-34
"In a military setting, you are expected to follow a direct command until you accomplish it or
are defeated. In some cases, this means until you are victorious or your life is taken. Soldiers
are expected to do what the military leadership says, no matter what. In many ways, this gives
a soldier ...
