The Reach of Faith; 2 Kings 1-4
Season 4, Episode 1

"Who or what we have faith in tells us a lot about ourselves. When people drive over a bridge they put their faith in the people who designed and built the bridge, that it will not fall. When we ride in an elevator we put our faith in action believing with confidence that the designers, the builders, and inspectors all did their jobs well. When we live our lives in accordance with
the Word of God, we are putting our faith in God. This allows God to move in our lives. It is not always as easy to put our faith in God as it is to drive over a bridge or get in an elevator, but we must trust God to help us deal with the problems and successes of our daily lives. This can seem a bit backwards to us because our culture teaches us to put faith in ourselves.
We have become people who value individualism over most things, and it’s expressed in how we practice medicine, deal with crime, and handle everyday experiences. Today we read about a woman who had no one except God to help her, and she calls on the LORD.
We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.
From social issues and apologetics to theology, history and science, our mission is to educate, edify and encourage the believer to actively engage with God’s Word in all ways."

Israel Falls; 2 Kings 17-19
"The descent of a nation is not pretty. In 2 Kings 17 we read that the kings of Israel had turned the people against the LORD and taught them to worship incorrectly. This is the main reason that the nation of Israel descended into sin and rebellion. The LORD is always moving in the world to let p...

King Josiah; 2 Kings 20-23
