"In today’s world, it can seem daunting to tell the truth when there are so many different claimed truths! As Christians though, we know that only God gets to determine truth. We must learn to define what is real and true by God’s standards, not our own. We live in a world covered by social media, where truth has been scrambled into many pieces. Amazingly, many people seem to only care about being the first one to say something instead of being someone who says what is real. What is said first, is not always truth. Let us be people who seek things founded in truth. Of course, there are simple facts like what is day and what is night, and then there are more complicated truths that we may not be able to know all the aspects of, like the truth about ongoing wars. We may seem brave or righteous in our demands for truths that we can tolerate, but humanity is largely ruled by a sin nature that would like to keep us bound to sin. Let us
abandon our sinfulness and instead cling to the truth that is sure: that which is found in God.
