"The years covered in the Old Testament were difficult for God's people. The LORD gave them chance after chance, yet they consistently disobeyed Him. Ezekiel 5:7-8 describes what the LORD would do as a result: ""Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; ‘Because you have multiplied disobedience more than the nations that are all around you, have not
walked in My statues nor kept My judgments, nor even done according to the judgments of the nations that are around you’ – therefore thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Indeed I , even I, am against you and will execute judgments in your midst in the sight of the nations."" God proclaimed His anger and disgust. The people heard the words of God that Ezekiel
spoke and had a choice to make. I wonder what choice you and I would have made?

God Punishes Sin; Ezekiel 21-22
