"The blessings of God are truly remarkable and immeasurable! A blessing is a special favor, a mercy, means of grace, or benefit of some kind. So to know that the divine hand of God can and will move on our behalf is amazing. In today’s passage, we see God’s promised blessings on Israel when they obey His Word. God knows that we, as followers of Christ conforming to His image, enjoy the freedom to choose how we are to live our life. The problem is that it is difficult to obey the LORD sometimes because we often relish in the freedom to choose our own way. But, as Christians, once we decide to live our lives the right way, we have daily
choices to make about how we will follow the LORD. The blessings of God come when we consistently choose His way, even if we make mistakes, and God promises to help us through those problems. It is not about us first, but God first. Today as we read Deuteronomy 28, we will learn that the LORD has specific promises on how we can receive blessings from Him.We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.
