"Vindication means to clear a person of false charges laid against them, such as from an accusation, imputation, suspicion, or the like. Psalm 26 is a song written by David, God's anointed choice for king when everyone was coming against him. David desired to be vindicated. In First and Second Kings, we read about the terribly evil Queen Jezebel who was married to Ahab, the evil king of northern Israel. She conspired against a man named Naboth, creating a narrative about him that was completely untrue. Naboth was wrongly accused of cursing the LORD and acting sinfully. Jezebel paid men to confront and accuse Naboth of these charges at a city meeting. As a result, they took Naboth and killed him. This enabled King Ahab the right to gain Naboth's vineyard, which is what he wanted. Our best hope is not to seek vindication in this life, but for our name to be cleared by the Judge of everyone––Jesus Christ. He will vindicate you by the power of His precious blood.

The Word & Work of God; Psalms 33-36
"Rejoicing in the LORD is the essence of praising God. When we praise God, we are telling the truth in a world full of lies. As Christians, our goal is to fulfill the will of God, and the will of God makes us a people devoted to truth. A big part of that devotion is praising God, because that is ...

Our Work Will Be Known; Psalms 37-40
"God keeps perfect records; His mind does not fade with age like ours does. God does not get old like we do, He is perfect and holy. The desire of God is to make His children grow to become more and more like Him. Jesus Christ came to earth 2,000 years ago, fully man and fully God. He was, and is...
