Today’s world is full of prophets and people who claim to speak for God. How do you know if they are true and right? How can you tell if someone is speaking for God or secretly against God? As Paul the apostle was writing his second letter to the Corinthians, he had to face such issues. This means that 2 Corinthians 6 is good for us to review and consider when approaching the concept of false teachers and preachers. Paul begins to explain how he has worked and approached the message of Jesus Christ. We can learn a lot from a good example, and here we find one: Paul explaining the life of a true teacher and preacher, his own life. Paul often talks of himself as the least of the apostles because of his acknowledgement of his life
before he knew Jesus as LORD. Paul had been a zealous Pharisee, who was driven to even torture Christians in Jerusalem. So, the question remains, how do we know who is speaking God’s Word and who is not?
