God has given us special revelation through the Bible, and that is what should be taught. The difficulty comes in when people claim to be teaching the Bible, but they have twisted it to include lies and/or exclude some of
God's truth. Today, we are so privileged to live in a society where we are not only literate but have access to multiple forms of the Bible: physical copies, online copies, audio copies, there are so many ways to read the Bible. And that is what we must do. People who do not know and read the Bible are more easily deceived. 2 Peter 2, presents a situation in which teachers are
saying they have the knowledge of God, and yet it's not true! Peter confronts the lies by coming against them with the truth of Jesus Christ.
