Revelation 22 is full of amazing things, which is very appropriate for the last chapter of the Bible! The stream of water that flows from under God's throne of grace, the famous tree of life, these are strange things to talk about for those who don't think about the spiritual world. But for those of us who have given our lives to God through Jesus Christ, these things are beautiful fulfillments of God's promises. When John was shown these things, he was so overwhelmed that that he fell in worship before an angel, who promptly said, See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God (REVELATIoN 22:9). Then the LORD continues and says For I testify to everyone
who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book (REVELATIoN 22:18-19).
