Revelation 4 tells us what God is going to do and what will take place in our near future. Revelation 4 begins this way, After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.' Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and one sat on the throne (REVELATION 4:1-2). We are told in verses 1 and 2 that John's condition changed—the LORD took him in the spirit to heaven where God's throne was. This is so interesting to me, in order to observe what God was
doing, John the Apostle had to be willing to do it God's way. And what an amazing thing for John to get to experience and witness! Equally amazing to me is the concept that God then had John write it all down so that we could have this testimony and these records in the future. God is good!
