"In Joshua’s old age, God reminded him that there was still much work to do. There was a lot
of the land that had not yet been conquered by Israel. So, we see Joshua move to encourage
and spur on the tribes of Israel. Life is so full of work and distractions that it is still easy for us to

to hear the message of Christ, and what He has done in our lives. People’s great need for God

convicted and make a decision about Christ for themselves. Let’s not forget our God-given
mission of making disciples. While we are still alive, we know that God’s work has not finished
for us. This is what we see God reminding ancient Israel of, though their mission was different
from ours. They needed to finish what they started.
