"There is no question in my mind that God can deliver anyone from anything, and any nation from any other nation. The Bible demonstrates this here in the book of Judges, as well as in Esther, Daniel, Ezra, and throughout the New Testament – take your pick. Even in modern times, we have seen how the LORD has protected Israel, one of the smallest nations in the world. The history of this nation ties it with God and His Scriptures, and I believe God is displaying His authority; He is making people ask questions and reevaluate their interpretations of Him. Christians share in the experience of God protecting them and revealing Himself through their lives and deaths; we serve the LORD Jesus Christ with all our heart, soul, and strength, come what may. In the book of Judges, Gideon was called by God to
challenge Midian, a nation who hated God and His people, Israel. The LORD did miraculous things then, and He will do them again in the future.
