It is not enough to believe that God exists as a higher power, or as a spiritual force. The Bible clearly portrays God as the God of all things, the Creator of the very universe. From Him comes all goodness and true morality. Even when it doesn’t seem like it, God is active in the world. Even when human evil seems to be reigning and ruling, it’s not, it has been given a time by God for whatever reason. When we begin to recognize God as the LORD of all things, our perspective begins to change with it. Even though humanity as a whole has chosen to rebel against God, and now our sin rules over us, there is still hope. God’s redemption plan has been put in action through Jesus Christ. There is hope in the choice that we have for Christ. God will judge sin, He is holy, but He is also faithful to save those who come back to Him.
