Today, I find it easy to say that we are in the last days, but I what I mean is that we are in the general time of the end when we are awaiting Christ’s return. I don’t mean that we have already or are currently experiencing the tribulation, or Christ’s second coming. Since Christ’s ascension to heaven, we have been in the last days. We have been experiencing all the things that mark the last days like natural disasters, and various wars, all things to be expected according to Matthew 24. Our reading today comes from Daniel 12, which speaks of things still to come. Though it was written around the fifth century BC, Daniel 12:4 shows the reader that Daniel was to seal the book until the time of the end. This time is marked by high-speed travel and the increase of knowledge, I believe this is the time we live in now.
