The WORD of the LORD; Ezekiel 12-15
Season 8, Episode 8

God told Ezekiel to prophesy to those in Judah who falsely called themselves God’s prophets. God had made it very clear that He was bringing punishment on Judah and Jerusalem because there had been no widespread or lasting repentance. Judgment was coming. Any message
other than that was wishful thinking, and not a true message from heaven. My question for us today is: How should we react when we think about how God worked out Judah’s judgment? Our first response needs to be to do what Judah failed to do. Repent. We need to pray for God’s forgiveness that He has made available through the work of Jesus Christ. Then as Christians, we need to ask God to move on the hearts of people, bringing them to Himself. We should also specifically pray for the leadership of our countries to find God. Our primary way to enact change is not through the democratic system, it isn’t through voting, it is through praying for others and sharing the gospel.

The Truth; Ezekiel 18-20
In our reading today, God crafts a lament about the people of Judah. Would they listen and learn or pass over the meaning? It’s interesting to me how many ways God uses in His Word to communicate truth to us. In today’s example, He uses pictures, imagery, and metaphors that speak on Judah’s past ...

Forgotten God; Ezekiel 21-22
