Signs and wonders are great! I love being taken back in amazement and awe by something supernatural. It shows that God is living and active. But is that really God’s work? The Bible does not tell us to just follow signs and wonders, it tells us to follow the God of the Bible first. We learn from the Bible that our best life does not happen here and now. In fact, Jesus Christ said, “In this world you will have trouble…” (JOHN 16:33). And, that God does not despise a broken spirit or a contrite heart ( PSALM 51:17). We will have difficulty in this world, but this world is not permanent, it will pass. The book of Revelation speaks to our souls and tells us that in the end of time, which seems very close, we will have all our faults and offences made right. The judgment of God is real and good. Today we study Deuteronomy 13, and learn about signs and wonders – the right and wrong kinds.
We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.
From social issues and apologetics to theology, history and science, our mission is to educate, edify and encourage the believer to actively engage with God’s Word in all ways.
