Commands of God; 1 Chronicles 27-29
Season 4, Episode 10

David articulated what God had spoken to him while he was the king of Israel. David knew that the LORD had anointed him and had chosen the tribe of Judah for the future leadership of Israel. The Kingdom of God was set in place by God and to be fulfilled by man. Of course, God’s stipulations would not be met, and the family of David would imperfectly fulfill their leadership roles. Nevertheless, One would be born many generations later who was called to complete all that God had commanded: Jesus Christ. Christ will one day guide the whole earth as Prince and King. We are currently waiting for that return.
Here, in 1 Chronicles 28, we begin to see the wonder of God in the presence of mankind. We learn that God is not uninvolved in our history. Rather, Jesus Christ came to fulfill the plans of God and make His will known.
We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.
From social issues and apologetics to theology, history and science, our mission is to educate, edify and encourage the believer to actively engage with God’s Word in all ways.
