In times of deep trouble, sorrow, or despair, it is a gut reaction to cry out to God. In these traumatic moments or crises, we may feel like we’re trapped or spiraling out of control. We’re just sinking deeper and deeper into darkness and chaos. But no matter how deep you go, God is always listening, waiting to pull you out. Our emotions may flare up, our discernment may be cloudy, and our ability to make the right decision may waver. As Christians, we can rest in knowing Who is in control. We can all fall back on Him, the only Person who’s truly stable: God. If you do not know Jesus Christ, I urge you to call on His name today. Cry out without ceasing! He is your only hope in a world that’s spiraling out of control.
