Season 6, Episode 18

The writer of Ecclesiastes reasons that the fundamentals of life are well known and there is nothing to be added. In other words, there is no one who is going to find out something that changes the basic truths of life. He gives some practical and wise sayings like: “A good name is better than the aroma of fine perfume” – ECCLES. 7:1. "It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise than for a man to hear the song of fools" – ECCLES. 7:5. The song of fools, meaning a life of carefree partying, might sound like fun, but the truth is the pain of a wise rebuke is better than the encouragement to party that the fool offers. Our soul does not thrive and grow, unless we come to the reality of Jesus Christ. It is important to stay carefully in God’s perfect will. Jesus Christ taught us to pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven…” – LUKE 11:2.
