The Jewish people have been living with a target on their back for centuries and centuries. As early as the time of the Exile all the way to Nazi Germany, antisemitism seems all too spiritual. It even manifested among early (false) Christians in the first few centuries. But remember that sin, satan, and the spiritual darkness of this world, has and always will hate God’s people. Only the Holy Spirit is able to resist the enemy and evil. This is very important for us to recognize. If you were taught that Jesus Christ was not the Messiah – that we are still waiting for Him to come – then you are an easy target.
