"Sex itself should not be seen as an evil, God designed us as sexual creatures, and therefore this is a gift! However, God designed sex to be enjoyed only within the marriage relationship between a man and a woman. The Bible is clear when it says that God's design was one man and one woman for life. But when we reject God as our purposeful and compassionate Creator, we have no reason to follow His guidelines for a healthy sexual perspective. Without God as a moral authority, we get to decide what is right and wrong, and very often, we've proven that we will choose temporary fulfillment and follow our feelings. When we believe that God is real and that we are His creation, our thinking
should change. It becomes less about what fulfills us in the moment and more about what fulfills in the long run. It becomes less selfish and more about what is best. Paul spoke about all of this to the Corinthians who, like us, were living in a very sexualized society.
