The end of time is a controversial idea. Many do not believe in an end of time in our lifetime because they do not believe the Biblical account of the beginning of time. But if time itself had a beginning, logic would dictate that it will have an end. The Word of God tells us that time itself has a beginning and has an end. The beginning appears in Genesis 1. Time, as we know it, started with God’s creation of the universe and the earth. The end is recorded in Revelation. But when will it end? Even though an event is recorded, Jesus says no one knows the day or the hour when the end will come, except the Father. Not even Jesus knows! If someone claims to know when the end will come, they are claiming to know more than Jesus did. This is telling. A new revelation such as this contradicts Jesus’s own words.
