"Laughter is a wonderful expression of delight and, in some cases, surprise or disbelief. This is exactly the reaction that Sarah had as she listened in on a conversation her husband Abraham was having with his three visitors. The LORD told Abraham that when He returned in about a year’s time she would have a son. There was nothing could have
surprised Abraham and Sarah more as Sarah was well beyond the age of conceiving a child. So, when Sarah heard the statement about a future son she laughed to herself. The LORD heard Sarah’s skeptical laugh, but He knew her heart. The LORD reminded both of them that nothing is impossible for God. Abraham was 100 years old when God blessed
them with a son, appropriately, they named him Isaac meaning to laugh. This was all a part of God’s plan of salvation: Isaac would become the father of Jacob, who would become the father of 12 sons, whose families would form the 12 tribes of Israel.

just like his father Abraham did... -

So I did — even though I did not know her yet, I prayed that God would give her patience, to know grace, and to be able to put up with me. What I did not know during those next few years of...

Real Faith; Genesis 32-34
"When we hear ""have faith,"" many think that means we must become a super-apostle of some kind. Yet God tells us that faith is not something we may have very much of; in fact, we really don’t need to have much to accomplish much. When the apostles asked Jesus to increase their faith, He told the...
