"The regulations that we read about today were specifically for the Israelites, once they had
moved into the Promised Land and had begun raising animals and farming the land. God told
them to worship through making offerings and sacrifices a regular part of their lives in the land. To live in the land was to serve God. To experience the fruit of the land was to experience the gifts of God, and offerings were a recognition of God as the people’s ultimate provider. Israel was a unique country. Its name came from God’s renaming of Jacob into Israel. Israel means ‘strived with man, and God, and prevailed.’ It was a nation that was supposed to be committed to the work of God on earth. One day, God would bless the entire earth through Israel, and open His covenant to all people, not just Israel. As we open our hearts and minds to the truth of God revealed in Scripture, we see principles that we can still apply to our lives today. We will also learn about God’s Messiah, Jesus Christ; how His provision was prophesied and foreshadowed.
We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.
From social issues and apologetics to theology, history and science, our mission is to educate, edify and encourage the believer to actively engage with God’s Word in all ways."

The Land of Israel; Numbers 32-34
"The territory of ancient Israel is outlined in our reading today. And though it has been noted
many times, it is still worth saying that it is amazing how much strife has occurred over such a small piece of land. God promised this land to the descendants of Abraham back around 2100 BC, and it wa...
