Orphaned and raised by her cousin Mordecai, Hadassah became Queen Esther, the first of many miracles God performed in and through her life. The story of Esther is a narrative of how God provides and preserves us when we love Him. It’s amazing to see how God can use the most unlikely people to help accomplish His plans. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And so, it is important that we always remember to pray for the persecuted Church, our brothers and sisters in Christ, around the world. Esther became a powerful influence as she served in the high position as queen of Persia, while still holding to her Jewish identity and her commitment to God. Both Esther and Mordecai were used by God to save the Jewish people from destruction. This story continues even today. God has called and anointed His people to follow Him and be successful. The Jews are one group whom the LORD has chosen to emerge in the end of time.
