"Repeat the Sounding Joy" (adapted from "Joy to the World") by the Foto Sisters

We never recognized the depth of lyric “Joy to the World” possessed until recently, when flipping through the Christmas section of a hymnal, we paused to read. Many of the words were unfamiliar to us… though sung around our home year after year. A melody can either stifle a lyric, or bring it to life. It became apparent to us (and our producers) we wanted to create a fresh take and “resurrect” the beauty found in the poetry… even if it was just for ourselves alone. But we hope you too will enjoy this new rendition on the old carol we now call: “Repeat the Sounding Joy”.
