There is a persistent problem between faith and the law. Many do not and will not believe in faith, but find it easy to see and hear the law of God. The problem is, Jesus Christ told us that many would be close to the law and are not close to Him as their LORD. Also, in the book of Revelation 3:20, the Bible says to the Church of the Laodiceans, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me…” This is a reference to a church that is lukewarm and not truly serving God. God is knocking on the door of the Church! Paul is attempting to get the people in Rome to know the difference between serving a set of laws and serving God. There is a big difference!

Including Israel; Romans 11-12
In Romans 11, Paul explains that God did not reject Israel, but Israel rejected God because of hardened hearts and unbelief in Christ Jesus. But he also stresses that they are not beyond recovery. God can graft Israel, the branches, back into the olive tree if they come by faith (ROM. 11:23-24). ...
