"In today’s reading, we see some brutal history that displays how much God had blessed Israel before they even entered the Promised Land. The people around Israel were threatened by and hostile to Israel’s presence. Seizing the opportunity to defeat this landless group, the people of Bashan set themselves up in opposition to Israel and her God. But God was creating a future for Israel, and a future for the Messiah to come and extend the Kingdom of God to all who would have it. Judgment was coming to Bashan. God is always working, even when it doesn’t seem like it, even today. We need to see the future as God sees it. We need His eyes for the world around us. To do this, we need to carefully read and study the Bible. When we practice praying before and after we read, we're inviting God to help our understanding and our ability to hear Him. The Bible is filled with truth, even when that truth is difficult to hear.
We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.
From social issues and apologetics to theology, history and science, our mission is to educate, edify and encourage the believer to actively engage with God’s Word in all ways."

Infrastructure; Deuteronomy 19-23
"God made provision for human sin in the very infrastructure of Israel. We see this in our reading today with the strategic placement and commissioning of cities of refuge. If someone was killed accidentally, without premeditation, the murderer had somewhere safe to go to await judgment from the ...
