"God arranged special celebrations that would help Israel remember. The most important
celebration in the Jewish faith is Passover. It remembers the nation’s beginning, their miraculous rescue by God in the event of the Exodus. Seven days of celebration are commanded by God in the 16th chapter of Deuteronomy. Elements of the festival highlighted important elements of the original Exodus event, reminding the Jewish people of God’s power, strength, and will to save them. Passover also points to the work of Jesus Christ. Jesus claimed association with the Passover lamb several times during His earthly ministry. This is important for Christians to keep in mind. In celebrating God’s strength and power and will to save, we are reminded that God is not done with the world. He saves for a reason. God can change our world more quickly and efficiently than any man or government could even dream of. The best thing we can do is to get behind Jesus Christ and follow His lead. He will not leave us in a sinful world forever.

understanding of God’s great mercy and forgiveness can take our guilty feelings away. He
is powerful enough to forgive us! We cannot earn forgiveness, we cannot buy it, but we can
receive it from God the Make... -
Looking at the Land; Joshua12-13
"In Joshua’s old age, God reminded him that there was still much work to do. There was a lot
of the land that had not yet been conquered by Israel. So, we see Joshua move to encourage
